MARCH 12, 2020 New York City - Big Apple Visit
The flights are booked, and the joy of travel begins! I can't wait to step foot in the Big Apple and experience what that incredible city has to offer. Although the list of sites and spots to visit grows daily, I am most excited for the numerous photo walks I will be taking with a focus on all of the beautiful and curious street art that awaits me. Expect some great updates to this site this summer, as I will surely have some incredible new photography and art to share with the world. Inspiration comes in many forms, and travelling to new depths of this planet will surely bring on new ideas and paths to follow. New travel, new friends, new findings and a new me. This trip is going to be one for the books.
July 14, 2019 Big Kitty Crew - Bambino
I have had the incredible honour to be invited to join the Big Kitty Crew. An all female art collective that helps support women in the urban art scene. Hip hop and graffiti culture is heavily male-dominated and we are here to encourage more women to find their place in this beautiful art world, at any capacity. Jennie "Big Kitty" Thorp Vallis has become an incredibly beautiful friend, giving me inspiration beyond words to gain the confidence needed to make my mark. I am so excited to see what this brings to my future endeavours. I can't wait to start bringing my big projects to life and meeting more talented women in the scene near and far. We are going places, we are making it big, and we are doing it together.
MAY 16, 2018 Paul Simon "Homeward Bound" Tour
8:00pm @ Rogers Arena
I will be fulfilling this musical dream of experiencing Paul Simon play live! I grew up listening to Graceland, Rhythm of the Saints, Still Crazy After All These Years, You're The One, Surprise and many more. When once asked "if you could see one musician, dead or alive, perform live who would it be?" my sincere answer was "Paul Simon". I am looking forward to this performance more than any I have before.
JAN 8, 2018 New Position @ Fraser Academy
I began my new position as Photography, Digital Media Development and Information Technology teacher at Fraser Academy. This exciting new position is a chance for me to re-discover my University training and submerse myself into the digital arts once again.
I am feeling a tad bit rusty with my skills and techniques, but much like riding a bike, it is all coming back to me very quickly. I am learning so much about myself as a teacher, an artist and a colleague.

Luckily, my students are very patient and I can already see potential for growth in all of my courses. With some extra refinement over the summer break, each semester will improve for both the students and myself.
​DEC 24, 2017 Welcome Gordon!
On Christmas Eve our family welcomed the newest member, Gordon Miles Gilgan. He is a precious little boy, that in my estimation takes after his mother. It was so nice to hold this newborn over the Christmas holidays and celebrate him with the whole family.
